Four ways onto AllHipHop
AllHipHop has covered hip-hop since 1997 and is a Google News publication with 3M plus monthly visitors. We sell its placements direct, with no agency in between, so the price is on the page before you send anything.
| Route | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Get Featured | $80 | A spot in a themed artist list, published on a Tuesday |
| Music Section article | $100 | Your own permanent article, up to 1,500 words and 3 do-follow links |
| Press release | $50 | Your release live for 30 days |
| Music Feature | $500 | The top tier, for eligible releases |
Get Featured, $80
Get Featured runs themed artist lists such as Top 5 Hip-Hop and R&B Artists in your city, Top 5 Underdogs in Hip-Hop Right Now and Rappers With the Best Pen Nobody Mentions. A list feature takes your artist name, one photo, your info and a music link, and we write the entry. Personal features take your own article, under 1,200 words, with up to 2 images. Features publish every Tuesday and lists are capped at 5 spots.
A permanent Music Section article, $100
This is your own article in the Music Section, up to 1,500 words with up to 3 do-follow links to Spotify, YouTube or your site. It goes live in 24 to 48 hours after payment and stays up. Of the 2,234 paid placements in our archive, 1,060 were music campaigns, and about one in eleven links straight to Spotify.
What you need to submit
- The article or your info as a Google Doc, shared so anyone with the link can view it
- A photo, 1200 x 800 pixels, that you have the rights to
- Your music link
Both the Google Doc and the image are required to place the order. Every piece goes through editorial review before it publishes.
Time it to your release
Book the article 30 to 45 days before release day so it is live first, then use the link as the credential in your other pitches. If you are working to a date, the music release plan shows where it fits.
