Amuse Release Plan: 90, 60 And 30 Days Out
How far in advance to upload to Amuse, which of their deadlines you have already missed on a short runway, and what a 90, 60 or 30 day plan looks like. Amuse recommends 3 weeks.
Amuse asks for at least three weeks so the release delivers properly and can be considered for playlists. If your release includes a cover on full distribution, set the date at least 14 days out so they have time to secure the licence.
Recommended lead time: 3 weeks. Stated minimum: 14 days for releases containing a cover. Three weeks minimum, and covers need their own head start on top.

The 90 day calendar on Amuse
- Day 90: Lock the release date and stop moving it. Every deadline counts backward from it.
- Day 85: Final masters delivered. No more revisions.
- Day 75: Artwork finished at 3000 x 3000, and readable at thumbnail size.
- Day 70: Clear every sample and feature in writing.
- Day 21: Push pre-saves properly. It is the strongest day-one signal you control.
- Day 21 (Amuse): Upload to Amuse. Three weeks is the floor for playlist consideration, not just for delivery.
- Day 21 (Amuse): Confirm what your tier actually includes. Free-tier limits have changed, and planning around an old assumption is how releases stall.
- Day 14: Confirm every piece of release-week coverage has your assets and the right date.
- Day 14 (Amuse): If the release includes a cover on full distribution, the date has to be at least 14 days out so Amuse can secure the licence.
- Release day: Release day. Work the day, do not just watch the numbers.
- Day 21 after: Third asset, and pitch playlists that only take already-released tracks.

Upload at day 60 to 45. Covers and licensing have plenty of room.
Amuse on a 60-day runway: Comfortable
Upload by day 35 to 40 and everything clears.
Amuse on a 30-day runway: Tight
Above their three-week floor if you upload today. If the release includes a cover, upload now, because licensing is on top of delivery.
What happens if you miss the Amuse deadline
Under three weeks you drop below the floor Amuse states for playlist consideration, and a cover without a cleared licence will not deliver at all.
